Thank you for participating in the process of bringing OM to life and submitting your drink recipes and ideas.  The response was overwhelming.  We are truly grateful and humbled by the time and consideration you took to submit thoughtful and delicious concoctions.  Our panel of esteemed judges gathered yesterday afternoon, Thursday, June 11th, to determine the winning drink which will be featured on our opening Cocktail Menu.

The winning cocktail was submitted by Troy Tindal and was a modified version of his drink, The Saffron Sharbat.  Our version contains Hendricks Gin, Saffron infused Vodka and Rose Sharbat.  DELICIOUS!

Troy is 36 years old and lives in Uptown, near Lake Calhoun.  His greatest passion is anything related to the culinary arts.  Whether it's creating a signature cocktail or experimenting with a new found ingredient, the food and beverage world is where he is the happiest.  Troy's talent isn't limited to cocktails, he's been brewing ales for over 10 years.  No surprise here but Troy has been in the hotel/ restaurant industry for over 12 years.  A perfect day for Troy would be sitting next to his hardwood smoker with a well crafted cocktail or homebrew and smelling the sweet smell of black walnut smoke kissing a rack of ribs.
