Holi is the colorful festival of spring, is the time for fun and pranks. The best part is that the offenses of the past and all your anger is dissolved with one boisterous shout of 'Bura na mano, holi hai!' (Don't be angry, it is Holi!), which is part of the tradition. During the festival, people smear color on each others face and splash water, playfully. The festival is known for the generous use of color.
